1. Introduction This is a critical review of both Robert Verrecchias Essays on revelation (henceforth, Essays) and the literature reviewed in Essays. In the following, I begin with a handling of the origins and limitations of this brush up. Following that, the critique presents a brief overview of what I regard as the central inclose of the disclosure literature, and it then turns to a discussion of several digest issues involving the various models presented in Essays, with particular emphasis on those models affair with the so-called associationbased disclosures. The present critique therefrom constitutes my third review of some version of Essays.
