And its important to stand up for this, this is a reason why Maya Angelou wrote this poem, to stand up against the racial discrimination thats happening in her society that she lives in. This relates to our society, because racism happens almost two day in the world we live in. And if we learn to stand up against it, people may learn to not be racist to an individual.
